[The breach ends and Scott is exhausted, from the drifts and the new memories and the attacks. He doesn't want to think about how many people got hurt there, because it's impossible not to think of that place as real. There's another him somewhere, piloting a Jaeger with another Clementine, and they're both fighting for their lives.
He makes his way back to his bedroom and drops face first onto the bed, not realizing how long he's actually been asleep. That's where he'll be found, but the usual conga line of visitors. Except this time, he'll probably wake up when people start talking around him.]
[Public Video, later]
[Scott looks really weirded out. Like. Really. For a moment he just stares into the camera; it passes, and he shakes his head like he needs to physically clear it.]
Okay, so...I guess I was asleep for a while. Sorry, if that freaked anyone out. [A beat.] It's totally freaking me out.
Anyway, I'm back, so if anyone needs me, uh, I'm here? I guess I never actually left...[He mutters the last to himself, and decides to turn the feed off there before he starts babbling incoherently.]
[Private to Clementine]
How are you?
[It's not a lead in to something else. It's not just polite small talk. When he asks, he means it. He's worried about her, because in the unlikely chance she needed him, he wasn't awake to answer.]

[He shrugs a little.]
Kira I think. She calmed him down.

[He smiles a little to hear that Kira was the one to take care of things. He smiles a little when Kira comes up at all, lately.]
Okay, okay it's fine. I'll talk to him and....hopefully we won't have to handcuff him to the radiator.

Or make him drink water out of a doggie bowl with his name on it.
So. Kira, huh?
[He's not exactly surprised. Kira's awesome. She's pretty and smart and fun to hang out with and it's clear things had been headed in the general direction of romance back home between her and Scott. But things here are different. Everything here is kind of different.]

I just, I dunno. I like her. [He pauses for maybe a second before deciding total honesty is best.] I like her a lot.
But there's...I can't just. Never see Daneca again. That doesn't feel right.
Spam
She's very likable. [His voice is casual and he drops into the desk chair.]
Of course not. [He considers for a long moment.] Are you thinking about going to see her again?

[He drops onto his bed, burying his face in the blankets for a moment.]
Lydia talked to me about it and...It's not really fair, is it? To her. [A beat] Or to me, I guess. But it's not like I can ask her to come back to the Barge, or Beacon Hills, and I can't....I can't leave home. [Not permanently, not to another world.]
I just think I should at least talk to her first. Tell her about it.

He'll push him about a lot of things, but this isn't one of them. This isn't his area of expertise or his strong suit by any means. So he purses his lips and nods.]
Yeah, of course, man. [His voice is quiet.]
Spam
Yeah, of course, man. [He mimics it, but a smile pulls at his mouth.]

Paybacks, man.
