Uh--
[Scott is realizing, once the feed is on, that he probably should have cleaned up before addressing the network. Because he's kinda bloody right now. It's all over his shirt - which is torn in a couple places - and there's more blood drying on his jaw. But he looks very human, which is not something he could have said forty minutes ago.
He glances off screen at someone - he's in Zero, though its occupants aren't visible - and scratches the back of his head.]
This new guy jumped me? He says his name is Roderick.
[And Roderick is getting a cameo, now. Wave, Roderick. (He is actually waving.)]
I brought him to zero, I'm not...really sure what else I'm supposed to do with him.
[Scoot don't admit to having no clue in front of the bad guys, sigh.]
[Private to Peter]
[He's been trying not to think about this. Like, in a big, huge freaking way, because it still freaks him out a bit. He's here because he doesn't want to be a werewolf forever, he doesn't want to be one at all anymore. Giving into it a little today has left him unsettled, and between that and what Lydia told him, He's not really sure what to think anymore.
Luckily, he knows a freaking super hero.
Who he probably should have contacted after he finished cleaning up, but at least the bloody shirt is gone. He's in the middle of scrubbing the blood off his chin and chest.]
Hey dude, do you wanna come over? I have a Playstation 4.
[Still can't believe this thing exists okay u_u]
[Private to the Admiral + spam for Lindsey]
Can you...jeez...Can you bring back, um--[He's not entirely sure of the man's name, so he turns the camera on Lindsey's form for a moment.] I'm...I'm gonna take him to the infirmary.
[He clicks off there, shoves the communicator in his pocket, and jesus. He has no idea what to do here, but at least...at least he doesn't ahve to worry about wounds, right? Carefully, he starts to lift the corpse - man, somehow getting the weight over his shoulder. He shudders as blood stains his shirt, swallows hard against the urge to vomit, and for a long moment, he has to just close his eyes. The smell of blood is so strong, it's overwhelming, and he's having trouble shutting it out.
Eventually, he puts one foot in front of the other, and repeats, repeats, manages to move forward jerkily toward the infirmary.]

So, when I first got my powers? I totally trashed my bedroom. And accidentally beat up a subway car full of people. Like, I had no idea how to do stuff like, open a tube of toothpaste anymore without squirting the whole thing out, I ripped a towel rack off my wall, broke an alarm clock... [He's sort of saying it like he's kidding, but this all did actually happen and it was weird.]
I know it's not the same at all as being a werewolf, but like, I don't know. Maybe you learn how to control it? [Not that he wants to draw this comparison, but it did kind of seem like his counterpart on that other Barge had it under control. In a bad way, but still under control.] How long have you been a werewolf?
spam
[It's not a comparison Scott wants to think about, either - in fact, he doesn't want to think about that version of himself ever - but it's a good point. He just hasn't had the opportunity to learn, here.]
How long did it take you to figure it out? I mean, how long before you were able to brush your teeth again? [Weak zing?]
spam
And sometimes accidents just happen. Like I broke a basketball backboard at my school.
[He hesitates a little before inquiring further.] So, what makes you lose control?
spam
Dude, seriously? [Not sure if awesome, hilarious, or awful. Then again, Flash and Jackson are like. the same person.
He shrug.]
It's, um. When my heartrate goes up, I guess. It's like I Hulk out, you know? Violence - lacrosse. I dunno how I've been managing that. Girls. [Girl. Singular. He tips his had back, gazing into the middle distance.]
Except, not all the time. Allison's like - she's my anchor. You know? She calmed me down, without even trying.
spam
Obviously if this person from the future is right, Scott's going to work it out eventually, it's just a question of figuring out what that is. Peter definitely knows better than to think everything on the Barge is going to be totally hunky dory until then.]
Is she the only thing that's helped?
spam
And right before I came here, she found out.
spam
How did that go? [Did you run away and make a deal with a super powerful crazy person?]
spam
Scott flops backward to stare up at the ceiling.]
I don't know. Her dad was kinda trying to kill me at the time. I bolted.
[And showed up here.]
....Lydia said she doesn't hate me, though. I don't know why, but...
spam
Was he trying to kill you like, oh there's Scott and he's a werewolf so I guess I'd better shoot him or like, wow that's one weird looking rabid dog, bear... thing?
spam
He's a hunter. Like - his family hunts werewolves. That's what they do. Her dad found out it was me, and they...kind of tried to squash me between two cars?
[...]
I don't look like a dog-bear!
spam
[He's only repeating what he's heard!!]
But dude, that sucks. And here I thought I had it bad because my girlfriend's dad wanted to arrest me.
Did Lydia say anything about like. How that's going to go down? I mean, I'm not saying hide out here forever, but if some psycho's trying to run you over, kind of sounds like camping out for a while might not be such a bad idea.
spam
...Okay that sounds pretty bad, too. At least he's like a cop? Her dad has a freaking garage full of weapons. I don't know how legal that is. But it's terrifying.
[He shrugs, propping himself up on his elbows.]
She didn't say anything about how. Just that, like, Jackson and Peter died but didn't stay dead? She's really bad at explaining things.
spam
I'm pretty sure that's not super legal like, at all. Or I don't know, I'm definitely not a fan of the whole "my Second Amendment rights mean I can own an assault rifle" thing, so. [Maybe it's not illegal.] Anyway, murdering a teenager is totally illegal no matter what kind of permits you have, so.
[He puts the controller aside, kicks off his shoes and pulls his legs up on the bed so he can turn and face Scott properly, since evidently the game is on hold.]
Do werewolves usually... not die? Die and then come back?
spam
No we just like. Heal super fast. [Obviously. He doesn't even know that Grandpappy Argent likes the 'old way' of cutting them in half, yet.]
I don't know what she meant, cause Jackson's not a werewolf. And Peter was the one who bit me.
spam
[Which is a terrifying thought in a lot of ways because no way does he want Flash to wind up with superpowers if he's still going to be throwing basketballs at his head and stuff.]
Re: spam
[He lets his head hang backward, eyes closing.] I mean, he wanted to. Like really bad, he was so mad that I was suddenly good at lacrosse, and I dunno how he figured it out, but he did. He wanted me to bite him, but only an alpha can do it. [He thinks.]
He wouldn't listen when I told him how awful it was. He just wanted to be badass.
spam
So, okay, Lydia says you're going to get to a spot where like, you'll be more in control and a couple people will know what you can do, but they aren't pissed about it and you can use what you can do to help people.
I mean, apart from the girlfriend's crazy dad thing, that doesn't sound so bad? [He's figuring at this point that you're always going to have someone pissed off at and trying to kill you if you decide to do the whole hero thing.] You just need to figure out how to control it.
Re: spam
I guess. I mean, I controlled it by listening to her. Like, Stiles got these seniors to kick my ass, and I kept it together because I could hear her across the school. And I haven't felt like, uh, attacking someone [ripping someone's throat out] in a long time.
spam
Why did Stiles- Never mind. [He hesitates for a beat before asking his next question.]
You don't, like. Like what you can do all that much, do you?
spam
But my girlfriend probably thinks I'm a freak, I'm lying to almost everyone, there's a crazy alpha trying to make me a killer, and my girlfriend's dad and his buddies keep trying to kill me.
Did I mention the part where I lose my freaking mind on the full moon and try to kill my best friend?
spam
[But still. Yikes.
Sometimes he feels really out of his league trying to give any advice on this subject at all - two months is basically nothing - but. He does think there's at least some stuff he can offer that doesn't totally suck.]
I get it, that all really sucks. Like, seriously, I'm not gonna try and tell you it doesn't, but... it sounds like your girlfriend will get it, even if she might not right this second, and I know how much it sucks to have to lie to people? But I'd rather lie than get them caught in the crossfire, you know?
I know you didn't ask for this, and a lot of us don't, [Who knows, they could have been born with it if things had just been a little different.] And like, I was told if you've got the ability to do good things? You have a moral obligation to do them. But the thing is, even if like, me or Alex didn't ask for our powers, it's not like someone intentionally did this to us. Mine was an accident, Alex was just born with it. I mean, if you got bit by some guy who knew what he was doing, it's kind of not fair for you to have to live with the consequences of someone else's bad decision, you know?
spam
Yeah. But like - my deal, if I ever get an inmate I mean, my deal is to just take it away. But that would change everything Lydia told me about. I wouldn't have lacrosse anymore. I don't even know if I'd have Allison. I'd be a total loser again.
[It's really hard to have everything and have to give it up, because you can't figure out how to handle it all.] I don't want to be Loser Scott McCall again.
spam
You know who has two thumbs and totally gets all of that?
This guy.
So he is laughing a little because just. Seriously.]
Dude, if anyone here is going to understand that, it's me.
spam
Yeah, I guess. Man, this whole thing is so weird.
spam
So, you keep mentioning that like, being an alpha's important, or something. What does that mean? I'm kind of not up on my werewolf stuff.
