Whoah - hang on-- [There is some shaky cam for a second, and then Scott has managed to prop the camera up...somewhere. As he backs away, it's pretty clear that it's on some kind of tree branch, because it's angled down at Scott. He's got a lacrosse stick in his hands, and there's a red helmet on the ground next to him.

He's also grinning the biggest grin.]

The CES is awesome, in case uh, anyone else hasn't been up here yet. Totally awesome. [He's juggling a ball in the net, jerking the stick back and forth and tossing the ball up every now and then.] There's this big space, and it's like, completely perfect for lacrosse. Does anyone else play? Maybe we could get a scrimmage going.

Hey, uh, I'm Scott McCall. I'm new here, but Chromie told me you were talking about opening an animal clinic? It's just, I worked in one back home and I thought, you know, if I'm waiting around for an inmate I could help with that?

Sooooo, how would it work if I wanted to run an animal clinic? You know, for the pets and...animals. Can I use an empty room or something? Can you get me supplies? It'll, um. [And now he is totally reading from the list Megamind gave him.] It'll be a good, uh, employment opportunity for inmates, it'll make wardens' jobs easier because they won't have to worry about their pets, and taking care of animals is a good...learning experience?

[ He's got a heavy, steel door -- with graffiti that proclaims that nobody lives here all over it. But the door does in fact get answered by a short blue man in black leather sporting an enormous head. ]

[It is seriously, seriously incredibly weird, but Scott tries not to stare.] Yeah, uh, that's me. Hi. [He eyeballs the door for another second before just shaking his head and stepping in.]

I've never been in a....lair before.

Well, this is just a shrunken version of it, that's all. Different from home, smaller -- not the same.

[ With Eddie in a coma a good two and a half, nearly three weeks now, Megamind's straightened up and most of the evidence of his lover has been put away, though the odd book of riddles and note pad are here are there, and some of Eddie's projects are still in the lab. ]

[ Megamind leads him inward, gesturing. ]

Anyway, I was-- kind of a jerk. It's just been a really trying time on the barge, right now. People in comas, Chris with no legs...

It can wear on a guy.

Anyway, over there's the lab and storage, there's the kitchentte, there's the living area, and the door to the bathroom, and the sleeping nook and... that's the lair.

A small lair.

My one at home is in a power plant and is way, way bigger.

Chris has no legs? [He blurts it out before he can even really think about it, and for a moment his eyes are just huge. Then he realizes what he's said and shoves both hands in his pockets, an apologetic look on his face.]

Y-yeah. Guess you've, uhm. Not seen him in the flesh.

[ Whoops. ]

No. Jeez.

[And this would be brooding, except it's just looking off in the distance and looking really really uncomfortable. It lasts for a few seconds before Scott scrubs at his face.]
