[The sound of Scott's laugh makes him grin so hard it hurts his face. His best friend doesn't laugh nearly as much as he used to, and he hasn't realized how much he's missed the sound...even if the sound is a lot younger than it had been in quite awhile.]

You are gonna get this tall, yep. We're actually exactly the same height. But...you're way cooler than I am. [He drops down again, coming off his tiptoes because hey, that kind of hurts after a bit.] You're also going to be the star of the lacrosse team.

[He tilts his head back to look up at Scott when he peers down and he can't help but laugh softly.]
